About me
David Hoffman is a Wildlife Research Technician with the Iowa DNR. He obtained a BS degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from Iowa State University in 1992. He has conducted research on trumpeter swans, ducks, pheasants, deer, otters, gray fox, wetlands and water quality. Dave works in partnership with the public, multiple state and federal agencies on wildlife and habitat issues. Dave believes public outreach and is extremely important and gives numerous wildlife and trumpeter swan educational programs to hundreds of youth, school, and public groups each year. Dave believes it is important to engage, connect, empower and ultimately instill an ownership of our natural resources with the public. “Trumpet the Cause for habitat”.
